By the decision of the Head of State K. Tokayev, July 13 was declared the Day of National Mourning in the Republic of Kazakhstan in memory of the citizens who fell prey to the coronavirus pandemic. Today, the entire country is mourning.
Unfortunately, despite the measures taken, Kazakhstan has not been immune to the disease. Every death is a totally grievous loss for each of us and – no exaggeration – for the entire country. The Kazakhstanis of different ages passed away, including well-known figures, creative intellectuals, statesmen, and doctors themselves who fought for human lives until the last day.
The deputy corps and the Office of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan express their sincerest condolences and words of support to the relatives and friends of the victims of the pandemic!
