The online meetings of the Commission on Agrarian Policy, Natural Resources and Ecology, as well as of the Control and Budgetary Commission took place at the Headquarters of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member Nations, attended by Senate deputies Akhylbek Kurishbayev and Olga Perepechina.
Akhylbek Kurishbayev and his colleagues discussed the draft model laws “On the Development and Protection of Mountain Territories”, “On Elimination of Accumulated Environmental Damage”, “On State Information Systems in the Field of Environmental Protection, Nature Management and Provision of Environmental Security”, “On Grain”, and “On the Legal Regime of the Territories Exposed to Radioactive Contamination”.
Members of the Commission had a talk on the implementation of the perspective plan of model lawmaking for 2020 - 2022 and listened to the report on the development of legislation of the Republic of Moldova in the area of agricultural policy, natural resources and ecology, as well as on the use of model legislative acts passed by the IPA CIS at the initiative of the Commission.
Senator Olga Perepechina took part in the meeting of the Control and Budgetary Commission, where a set of issues related to the financial support of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly was discussed. The agenda featured issues related to the ongoing funding of the activities, creation and execution of the Assembly’s budget.
The Commission members exchanged information on the adoption in the IPA CIS member nations of laws on the state budget for the next planning period. Additionally, participants of the meeting also talked about the preparation of draft resolutions of the IPA CIS Council related to financial aspects of the association’s activities.
