On November 3-4, deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan attended the 19th Autumn Meeting of the OSCE PA, where the problems of security in the OSCE region were considered.
Deputy Chairman of the Senate Askar Shakirov took part in the work of the Standing Committee, discussing current activities of the OSCE PA and topical issues on the international agenda.
As part of the session, deputies Gumar Dyussembayev and Kairat Kozhamzharov participated in the Parliamentary Conference devoted to security challenges in the context of the unfolding situation in Afghanistan. Senator Akmaral Alnazarova attended the Mediterranean Forum to address issues of supporting security and cooperation in the countries of the Maghreb and the Middle East.
