Senator Akhylbek Kurishbayev discussed further prospects of development of grain farming with the staff of the Scientific and Production Center of Grain Farming named after A. Barayev. The meeting was held in the village of Shortandy within the framework of the deputy's working trip to Akmola Region.
"I was impressed by the optimistic mood of the scientists of the Institute, including those who opposed the establishment of the Research University. All, with whom I talked, noted progressive changes after unification with KATU named after S. Seifullin - a lot of scientists became younger, students and graduates receive practical training in laboratories and scientific fields, the research and social base of the Institute is updated", - said the senator.
During the meeting the deputy was reported that the synergy of the scientific potential of the two leading scientific organizations has allowed to prepare qualitatively new scientific programs. As a result, the Kazakh Agrotechnical University named after. S. Seifullin and the Research and Production Center won 5.5 billion tenge in the competition for the targeted financing program. And this is almost a quarter of all program financing of agrarian science.
"Now it is important that the heads of scientific organizations effectively use their budget, directing it to stimulate the work of scientists," - summarized the Senator.
