Members of the Senate Bureau approved the Agenda of the session of the House, scheduled for September 29, 2022.
Chairman of the Senate Maulen Ashimbayev, opening the meeting, focused on the key role of Constitutional amendments in the democratic development of the country and the upcoming extraordinary presidential elections, about which the Head of State announced in his annual Address.
At the next meeting of the House will consider the draft law "On Ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014 in terms of clarifying the Mechanism of Formation of the Eurasian Economic Commission Staff".
The document, in particular, provides for the conclusion of employment contracts with directors of departments of the Commission and their deputies for a period not exceeding the term of the Board of the Commission, for employees of the Commission sets a 5-year term of employment contracts with the possibility of extension, as well as transitional provisions for current employees.
During the meeting, members of the Bureau also distributed among the Standing Committees of the Senate the bills received from the Mazhilis.
