The deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Bekenov took part in the work of the meeting of the Commission on the Environment, Natural Resources and Healthcare of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic states.
The theme of the meeting is “Biodiversity protection in TurkPA member countries”. Together with parliamentarians from other countries, the senator discussed the results of the commission and a report on this topic.
The meeting participants noted the need for legislative support and international interaction in the field of biodiversity protection, as well as the importance of parliamentary activities to inform the population about current situations and problems in this area.
In addition, members of the commission discussed the work on the draft model law “On the Protection of Reproductive Health”.
