Members of the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan Lyazzat Suleimen and Dinar Nuketaeva took part in a High-Level Forum on "The Role of Central Asian States' Women Parliamentarians in Implementing National Action Plans on Preventing and Preventing Violent Extremism".
The Forum aimed to increase the participation of female parliamentarians in Central Asia in efforts to counter terrorism and prevent violent extremism.
Participants discussed the gender aspects of terrorism, violent extremism, and strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation on preventing violent extremism in Central Asia.
The event brought together women parliamentarians, representatives of parliamentary assemblies and civil society organizations from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
