Chairman of the Senate Committee on Socio-Cultural Development and Science Nurtore Zhusip took part in an event organized by the Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of Kazakhstan, where the book "Babalar iz men: Kazakh dalasyndagi musylmandyk mektep" was presented.

During his speech, Nurtore Zhusip spoke about the importance of preserving spiritual values and principles of a tolerant society in Kazakhstan, noting that Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev pays special attention to issues of equality of religions, tolerance and the principles of a secular state.

"The Head of State focuses on the need to preserve spiritual values in Kazakhstan. Thus, the President emphasizes that this issue should not be neglected, otherwise we may lose our national traditions, which will lead to serious consequences for the country. Today's presentation is certainly an important area of work carried out at the initiative of the Head of State and a milestone in the spiritual and moral education of the younger generation, aimed at forming a harmonious personality, developing its value and semantic sphere," Nurtore Zhusip said.

The senator also noted that all the tasks set by the Head of State in this direction are important in solving the key problems of modern society. The implementation of the tasks is a strategically important step in the development of the principle of a secular state and a tolerant society.

In addition, the participants of the meeting discussed the development of traditional Islam, the upbringing of the younger generation and the spiritual and cultural development of the country.
