The selection for the fourth stream of the public project "School of Analytics", implemented with the support of the Senate, took place. About 700 applications were submitted for participation in the project. Following the review of the applications, the selection committee selected 60 participants.
The fourth stream of the "School of Analytics" will be held from January 11 to March 1, 2025. Classes will be held on Saturdays for 8 weeks. Famous Kazakh and foreign government officials, experts and analysts will act as lecturers and trainers.
The public project "School of Analytics" is aimed at strengthening analytical approaches in public administration, social and humanitarian research, and the media.
The topic of the next training course will be "Analytics and Digital Tools in Data-Driven Decision Making". In this regard, candidates with work experience and an academic degree, as well as those working in analytical structures, the public administration system, national companies, the media, non-governmental and international organizations and possessing basic knowledge in the relevant field, received an advantage in the selection process.
The result of the training is a collection of analytical materials from the participants, which is sent to the deputies of the Parliament and relevant government agencies as recommendations.
It should be noted that the School of Analytics project was initiated by the Club of Experts under the Senate of the Parliament in 2021. The initiative was supported by the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament Maulen Ashimbayev. In 2022-2024, three streams of the School were held, where about 200 analysts from the civil service, academic and analytical organizations, the media, national companies, and the civil sector were trained.
