Deputies of the Senate Committee on Social and Cultural Development and Science Nurtore Zhusip and Altynbek Nukhuly visited the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi. During the conversation with the leadership of the university, Nurtore Zhusip noted that the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi is one of the oldest and leading universities in Central Asia, playing a key role in the formation of the modern domestic system of higher education and science.

"Today, in the context of global challenges and a rapidly changing world, the importance of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University continues to grow. It is not just an educational institution, but a strategic resource of the nation - a center for generating knowledge, educating new generation leaders and promoting the image of Kazakhstan in the international arena. The most important task of the state is to further support and develop the university, strengthen its autonomy, expand international partnerships and ensure the influx of talented youth from all corners of the country and from abroad. KazNU is not just a university, it is the pride of the country, our common intellectual capital and an investment in the future of Kazakhstan," said Nurtore Zhusip.

In turn, deputy Altynbek Nukhuly noted that KazNU is one of the initiators of the introduction of a three-tier education system. The university was the first in the country to switch to a credit system of education, actively introduces e-learning and elements of artificial intelligence into the educational process.

"KazNU does not just teach, it forms the elite of the nation. More than 25% of the deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dozens of akims, ministers, scientists, diplomats and public figures are graduates of Al-Farabi University," noted Altynbek Nukhuly.
