The Speaker of the Senate of the Parliament of the RK, Maulen Ashimbayev, visited the exhibition of the famous artist Yerbolat Tolepbay. The vernissage took place at the National Museum and is dedicated to the artist's jubilee and the 50th anniversary of his creative journey.
Today, the name of Yerbolat Tolepbay is widely known outside the country as a worthy successor to the traditions of fine art and a follower of such masters of the brush as Abilkhan Kasteyev and Gulfairus Ismailova. The artist managed to skillfully combine Kazakh flavor and the unique style of Europe and Asia, becoming one of the founders of surrealism in Kazakhstan.
Emphasizing Yerbolat Tolepbay's contribution to the formation of national fine art and painting, Maulen Ashimbayev noted the diversity and versatility of the artist's work. The paintings, based on traditions and imbued with spirituality, as was noted, harmoniously combine artistic innovations and cultural revival, ancient myths and modern realities, expanding the traditional understanding of identity.
In this context, the Chairman of the Senate noted the great importance of modern culture and art for promoting national identity, forming universal human values, and preserving the national code and continuity. This direction is given priority attention by the Head of State.
«The President of the country, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, attaches great importance to the development of national culture. Currently, various programs and important projects are being implemented in this direction. Including large-scale events dedicated to the popularization of cultural heritage, which are regularly held. Today's exhibition is part of this important work. The work of Yerbolat Tolepbay makes a significant contribution to the development of Kazakh fine art, and each painting is filled with deep meaning. Through the prism of nomadic traditions, the spiritual values and national code of our people are promoted», – said the Speaker of the Senate, addressing the artist, and wished him good health, well-being, and creative inspiration.
The jubilee artist was also congratulated on this day by his colleagues – honored figures of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of the intelligentsia, and members of the Union of Artists.
