A meeting of the Committee on Economic Policy, Innovative Development and Entrepreneurship chaired by Suindik Aldashev took place in the Senate. At the meeting, points of the protocol prepared after the round table in the city of Saran, Karaganda region, where key issues of the development of the mechanical engineering industry were considered, were discussed.
Before the start of the discussion, Suindik Aldashev noted that the protocol reflects business initiatives, proposals of industry unions and positions of state bodies that require further practical elaboration.
«Our task is to ensure the substantive execution of each point of the protocol. The results of the round table showed that there are systemic issues in the industry, and they must receive a timely reaction from authorized bodies», – emphasized the senator.
After that, the participants proceeded to consider proposals on the development of legislation, including the preparation of the law on social-entrepreneurial corporations. Special attention was paid to issues of deductions for research and development works for medium-sized business, financing conditions of the Industry Development Fund, as well as the procurement of products of domestic mechanical engineers by oil and gas companies.
«Changes adopted by the Ministry of Energy to the procedure for procurement of Kazakhstan goods already create additional incentives for domestic manufacturers, however, subsequent work on the practical implementation of these measures is required. It is important that each state body provides its official position and proposes concrete solutions. This will allow us to move from discussion to result and ensure real support for national mechanical engineering», – noted Suindik Aldashev.
