Deputies of the Senate of the Parliament Arman Utegulov and Lyazzat Rysbekova visited Kaztalovka district of West Kazakhstan region on a working trip. During the visit, the senators got acquainted with the state of social infrastructure facilities and discussed topical issues of rural development.

The work in the district was built taking into account the approaches outlined by the Head of State in a recent interview. The President stressed that improving the quality of life in the regions, developing social infrastructure and creating conditions for sustainable rural development are key objectives of state policy. In this context, the state of educational and emergency services, which directly affect the safety and social well-being of citizens, is of particular importance.

As part of the trip, the senators visited a secondary school with 60 places in the village of Konys. It was noted that in recent years, the district has consistently implemented measures to upgrade the educational infrastructure. Five new schools have been commissioned in four years. The senators got acquainted with the material and technical base of the educational institution and discussed the prospects for further development of the education system in rural areas.

«The development of rural schools is not only a matter of education, but also a factor in the sustainability of the settlements themselves. The quality of education and working conditions of teachers directly affect the attractiveness of the village for young families», - said Senator Arman Utegulov.

The parliamentarians also visited the fire station 11 in the district center. The building of the division, built back in the 1960s, was declared an emergency. Currently, 18 employees continue to serve in the unit. The unit has four fire trucks, a towed motor pump and an inflatable boat. In 2025, the fire department responded to 88 reports, of which 32 were related to fires.

During the meeting, Akim of Kaztalovka district Aslanbek Akhmetollauly said that a private investor had expressed willingness to build a new fire station building at his own expense.
