Senator Bekbolat Orynbekov, along with members of the Republican Headquarters of the National Coalition, visited the Kordai District of the Zhambyl Region. The working visit was part of the public discussion of the draft People's Constitution.
The senator visited the district House of Culture, where he met with maslikhat deputies, community representatives, veterans, and district residents. The main topic of discussion was the draft's content and its key provisions aimed at strengthening guarantees of citizens' rights and freedoms.
Bekbolat Orynbekov emphasized that the new version of the Basic Law reflects the real needs of society.
"Today's initiative is aimed at ensuring the voice of the people is heard. The Constitution must clearly guarantee the rights and freedoms of every citizen. That is why we travel to the regions, meet with people personally, and believe it is important to directly listen to proposals and opinions," the senator noted.
Furthermore, members of the delegation met with workforces from district enterprises, where they discussed social guarantees and the role of the Constitution as the foundation of a new social contract. Meanwhile, in the Sortobinsky rural district, the senator answered questions from residents and listened to their suggestions.
