Senate members Zhanna Asanova and Marat Kozhayev held meetings with athletes and coaches at the Qulager sports and fitness center, as well as with the staff of BRB APK LLC, as part of their outreach efforts regarding the new draft Constitution.
During the meetings, the senators discussed in detail the key provisions of the upcoming national referendum and the conceptual changes proposed in the draft new Constitution. They emphasized that the new Constitution is a logical continuation of the systemic political and socioeconomic reforms underway in the country.
According to Zhanna Asanova, all proposed changes are aimed at strengthening legal guarantees and creating a more sustainable model of public administration.
"The draft new Constitution strengthens the principles of the rule of law and justice. Guarantees for the protection of citizens' rights and freedoms are expanded, and the accountability of state institutions to society is strengthened. This is an important step toward creating a more open and balanced system of government, where people remain the key priority," the senator emphasized.
Marat Kozhayev, in turn, emphasized the importance of citizen participation in the national vote as a manifestation of mature civic engagement.
"A referendum is an opportunity for every citizen to directly participate in determining the future of their country," the senator noted.
During the meetings, participants asked questions regarding the practical implementation of the proposed regulations and received detailed explanations.
