The Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan has begun accepting applications for the annual "Parasat" competition among media representatives. This was announced on his Facebook page by the Chairman of the Senate, Maulen Ashimbayev.
"Journalists, creative teams, and bloggers who cover the large-scale reforms being implemented in the country at the initiative of the Head of State, explore the significance of constitutional reform, and report on the Senate's legislative activities are invited to participate. Traditionally, awards will be presented for the best work in television, radio, print media, online publications, and social media. In addition, there will be a special nomination for the best analytical piece," wrote Maulen Ashimbayev.
Materials posted between May 21 of the previous year and May 20 of the current year are eligible to participate in the Competition. Applications are open until June 10.
Entries will be accepted in the following categories:
– Best Television Material;
– Best Radio Material;
– Best Publication in Print Media;
– Best Publication in an Online Publication;
– Best Publication on Social Media;
– Special Prize of the Year: Best Analytical Material.
