Members of the Senate Finance and Budget Committee held an extended meeting to review the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Amendments to the Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan."
Representatives of the Ministries of National Economy, Finance, and Justice participated in the discussion.
The law was drafted to align the provisions of the Tax Code with the provisions of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, adopted in a national referendum on March 15, 2026. Specifically, the document provides for amendments related to the creation of a unicameral Parliament (Kurultai), the formation of the Kazakhstan Halyk Kenesi, and the elimination of the state fee for citizen appeals to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, participants discussed the proposed amendments and their practical implementation.
