Deputy Speaker of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhakip Asanov officially assumed his duties as Coordinator of the International Observer Group from the Interparliamentary Assembly (IPA) of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) for the parliamentary elections in the Republic of Armenia. The elections will take place on June 7. The decision to appoint him was made by the Assembly Council.
As part of this trip, the Deputy Speaker of the Senate also proactively held a series of meetings in Georgia and Armenia, delivering lectures to professional and academic communities on effective governance and project management.
On June 3, during his trip to Georgia, the Senator visited the Batumi Sea Port and Batumi Oil Terminal (owned by KazTransOil JSC). At a meeting with the management and employees of the companies, Zhakip Asanov presented universal project management tools applicable to any sector. Using real-life cases from his practice, the Senator demonstrated how a project-based approach allows organizations to quickly emerge from crisis, structure chaos, and establish clear processes.
On June 4, the program continued in Yerevan. A key point of the route was Zhakip Asanov's address to the audience and faculty of the Academy of Public Administration under the Government of Armenia.
The Vice Speaker of the Senate presented three universal lessons from the large-scale modernization of Kazakhstan's law enforcement and judicial systems, which have received international recognition.
"Most organizations suffer not from a lack of work, but from an excess of unnecessary processes that don't create value. True leadership isn't about adding new tasks, but about the ability to declutter the system and free up resources for what's truly important. Don't wait for change—design it," concluded Zhakip Asanov.
