The Senate members Mukhtar Dzhumagaziyev and Bauyrzhan Kaniyev visited one of the most remote areas of the Aktobe region - Oiyl. The Senators got acquainted with the work of a private greenhouse in the regional center, visited the building of the local children's music school and met with the staff of the central regional hospital.
The Senate members also visited a new polyclinic in the rural district of Sarybiye, met with schoolteachers and local residents, got acquainted with the situation at a livestock farm in the village of Saralzhyn.
During the meetings, the members of Parliament spoke about the reviewed bills aimed at improving the socio-economic situation and supporting the population during the pandemic and answered questions from residents. Senators discussed social programs and healthcare and education reforms.
During a meeting with the staff of the local central district hospital, the members of Parliament thanked the doctors who worked selflessly during the pandemic and talked about the reforms in state support for medical workers.
Bauyrzhan Kaniyev noted that young specialists working in rural areas need priorities in terms of social protection when studying additional professions.
During the meeting, residents of the region raised questions about the rules for using the funds from the Integrated Accumulative Pension Fund, expanding the quota of educational grants for children from large, single-parent and low-income families. The villagers paid a lot of attention to changes in the legislation in the field of ecology and agriculture.
