Members of the Bureau of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved the agenda of the Chamber meeting, which will be held on April 22 this year. Thus, the senators will consider ratification of treaties between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of North Macedonia on the extradition of persons.
A bill on ratification of the Treaty between Kazakhstan and North Macedonia on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters was also included in the agenda of the meeting. Its adoption will make it possible to establish the procedure for the provision of mutual legal assistance in criminal cases, as well as to increase interaction in the fight against crime between our countries.
At the meeting of the Senate, the senators will also consider the bill “On ratification of the Treaty between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of North Macedonia on the transfer of convicted persons”. This Treaty provides the procedure for interaction between the competent authorities, the conditions, form, and content of the request, exchange of information, transit of a convicted person, and the norms related to the costs incurred in connection with the transfer of the convicted person.
Members of the Bureau distributed a number of bills received from the Mazhilis among the standing committees.
