A terrible fire in Ridder, East Kazakhstan Region, caused dozens of homes to completely burn out. Regrettably, the tragedy led to human casualties.
Senate Speaker Maulen Ashimbayev noted it is important to unite to support the victims in such difficult moments.
“The President keeps the situation under his personal control. Government authorities will render all the necessary help to the residents of Ridder. This is a great tragedy. At such moments, we should unite and give support to those who need it most. I offer my sincere condolences on behalf of myself and the deputies of the Senate to the family and friends of the person who died in the fire. We also wish all the victims to get well soon,” Maulen Ashimbayev said.
Deputies of the Senate of the Parliament made a decision to donate their one-day salaries to the Fire Victims Assistance Fund.
The Government and the Akimat of the East Kazakhstan Region are now working on providing assistance to the city residents who suffered from the fire and providing them with housing, as instructed by the Head of State.
