In the Inder district, Senator Gumar Dyussembayev checked out the results of the major overhaul of the water treatment plant built in 1972. During the inspection, he noted the urgency of providing residents with clean drinking water. The more so that for the Atyrau region this problem is still urgent. The senator has repeatedly expressed the need for its solution in his deputy inquiries to the leadership of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country.

Problematic issues of the region were further discussed at a meeting with the district maslikhat deputies. After telling about the results of the House’s work and giving explanations on the key directions of reforms initiated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the senator attentively listened to the views of maslikhat deputies on the need to address several systemic issues at the republican level. Provision of housing to young specialists is one of them.

“According to the program “With diploma - to the village!”, the minimum share of public budget loans to purchase housing falls on the Atyrau region. A major reason for this is that housing costs are expensive compared to other regions, depending on the level of socio-economic development of the region, and, consequently, there are facts of insufficient funds provided under the project, dissatisfaction with the condition of the houses being sold, and the level of depreciation. To this end, it is suggested to consider the issue of increasing the public budget loan granted to specialists from the approved 1,500 to 2,000 MCI,” Gumar Dyussembayev said.

Also, during their trip to the region, Sagyndyk Lukpanov and Gumar Dyussembaev visited the Zhylyoi and Makat districts. In Kulsary city, the senators inspected the construction of two modular hospitals for a total capacity of 275 beds. And in Makat district, they were introduced to the work of the Special Economic Zone of the National Industrial Petrochemical Technopark.

Beyond that, the deputies met with the Akim of the Atyrau region, senior officials of government authorities, and deputies of the regional maslikhat. At these meetings, the senators spoke about the concerns expressed by the residents of the region, which require the special attention of the region’s governors.
