Senators Altynbek Nukhuly and Nurzhan Nursipatov Met with Residents of East Kazakhstan and Pavlodar Regions

As part of the trip to the East Kazakhstan region, the Senate deputies Altynbek Nukhuly and Nurzhan Nursipatov met with teachers of the Pedagogical College in Semey. The deputies answered the teachers’ questions and explained to them the norms of the Law recently adopted by the senators concerning the legislative support of distance learning.

“The amendments clarify the “distance learning” concept and determine a procedure for its implementation. Also, separate standards are being introduced for the high-quality preparation of textbooks”, Senator Altynbek Nukhuly said.

In turn, Senator Nurzhan Nursipatov, talking about the work done during the session, particularized the innovations of the adopted Law on Inclusive Education.

“The law solves the tasks of improving the regulatory framework for inclusive and special education, as well as bringing the legislation of our country in line with the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities”, said Senator Nurzhan Nursipatov.

During the meeting of the senators with the management of the Pavlodar region Prosecutor's Office, they also discussed the legislative activities of the Chamber this year. Special attention was paid to amendments to the legislation related to the criminal process, law enforcement activities and elections.
