The Senate held an extended session of the Committee on Finance and Budget, where deputies discussed the Bill on the regulation and development of the insurance market and securities market, as well as banking activities.
The document provides for the introduction of new financial products, further digitalization of services, improving the quality of consumer and investor protection.
"By expanding the coverage of insurance, improving the availability of insurance services, and improving the quality of consumer protection of insurance services, the amendments proposed in the Bill will enhance the importance of the insurance sector in the economy and further growth of the insurance market indicators," said Senator Zhenis Nurgaliyev.
It should be noted that the Bill provides for changes in three main blocks: insurance sector, securities market and banking.
At the end of an extended meeting of the Committee, the senators decided to pass the Bill to the House for further consideration
