Andrey Lukin, Deputy of the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan, visited the employment center of the capital and the center of social services "Nurly Zhurek", where he met with the staff of organizations and residents of the city.
During his visit to the institutions, Andrey Lukin got acquainted with the labor mediation services provided to citizens and employers, the implementation of active measures to promote employment and the organization of social protection from unemployment.
"For the first quarter of this year, the unemployment rate in the capital remains the same as last year and amounts to 4.6%. In this regard, it is necessary to strengthen the work of the Employment Center in terms of seeking new approaches to the employment of citizens,"- said the senator.
In addition, the Senator told the audience about the work conducted by the Chamber, to ensure legislative reforms initiated by the Head of State, aimed at addressing social issues and increasing incomes of Kazakhstan's population.
