The bill on the modernization of the agricultural sector is under consideration of the Senate

A plenary session of the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held under the chairmanship of the Speaker of the Senate Maulen Ashimbayev.

The bill "On Amendments and Additions to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Issues of Livestock Breeding and Biofuel Turnover" at the meeting of the House today reviewed the first reading of the Senate deputies. The document aims to improve existing legislation and the development of modern legislation in the field of livestock breeding. In particular, it concerns the further modernization and digitalization of agriculture, improving the efficiency and competitiveness in the field of livestock breeding, the expansion of the use of bioethanol and other issues.

In addition, deputies considered the issue of electing members of the Senate to the Joint Commission on Amendments and Additions to the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the results of the discussion and voting the following senators were included in the commission: Vladimir Volkov, Akhylbek Kurishbaev, Erik Sultanov and Akmaral Alnazarova.

Also during the meeting senators voiced their deputy requests.

Zhenis Nurgaliev and Sergey Karplyuk raised a number of problems associated with the origins and consequences of fires in Kostanay Region. The deputies also voiced a number of proposals that could reduce the scale of losses in emergency situations.

Sagyndyk Lukpanov drew attention to the problematic issues of construction of industrial complexes in the FEZ areas.

Akhylbek Kurishbaev expressed his dissatisfaction regarding the quality of the Government's responses to the deputies' inquiries.

Murat Baktiyaruly raised the problems of the shortage of places in schools and suggested ways to solve them.

Gumar Dyusembaev spoke about the problems of the plant "Condensate" in WKR, the solution of which would not only save the plant, and hence the jobs, but also to solve the problem with a shortage of fuel and lubricants in the country.

Andrey Lukin noted the importance of regulating the use of conditional land shares and protection of shareholders' rights.

Dinar Nuketayeva drew the attention of the deputies to the problematic issues faced by teachers in the country.
