An extended Session of the Committee on Agrarian Affairs, Nature Management and Rural Development was held under the chairmanship of Senator Ali Bektayev. Senators considered a draft law "On Amendments and Additions to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Issues of Livestock Breeding and Turnover of Biofuels".
The main purpose of the bill is to improve existing legislation, creating a modern regulatory framework in the field of livestock breeding.
Thus, the bill provides for: the implementation of the Program of modernization and digitalization in the agricultural sector, improving efficiency and competitiveness in the field of livestock breeding, the unification of terms for breeding and tribal work within the Eurasian Economic Union and the expansion of bioethanol.
The bill was sent to the House for consideration.
