The deputies of the Senate Committee on Economic Policy, Innovative Development and Entrepreneurship held a working meeting in the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Astana.
The main purpose of the event was to discuss urgent issues of the construction industry, housing and communal services and land relations. Among the most discussed problems: rise in price of building materials and building works, unaffordability of mortgage crediting, necessity of improvement of public procurement procedure, shortage of land plots for construction and others.
«I think that today we have heard a lot of meaningful suggestions and had very important issues discussed. We are holding working meetings with representatives of government agencies, experts, associations and interested organizations in order to subsequently qualitatively hold a Government Hour in the Senate. Deputies are always ready to provide support to address problematic issues in the sphere of housing», - said Dauren Adilbekov.
According to the results of the discussion, the senators noted that these issues will be worked through in preparation for the Government Hour on the subject of "The development of housing construction in the Republic of Kazakhstan: problems and solutions", and will be taken into account in the further law-making activities of the deputies.
This meeting was also attended by members of the regional council of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Astana, representatives of the Ministries of Industry and Infrastructure Development, Finance, National Economy, Agriculture, Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace, Justice, as well as representatives of construction companies and associations.
