The law on the formation of the EEC staff was adopted

The plenary session of the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held under the chairmanship of the Speaker of the Senate Maulen Ashimbayev.

During the session deputies considered and adopted a law "On Ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014 in terms of clarifying the mechanism of formation of the personnel composition of the Eurasian Economic Commission".

"The Protocol is aimed at clarifying the mechanism for the formation of the Eurasian Economic Commission staff. We hope that the Law will improve the requirements for the working conditions of the Commission staff," said Maulen Ashimbaev, commenting on the adoption of the Law.

The document, in particular, provides for the conclusion of employment contracts with directors of departments of the Commission and their deputies for a period not exceeding the term of the Board of the Commission, for employees of the Commission sets the 5-year term of employment contracts with the option of extension, as well as transitional provisions for existing employees.

Also during the meeting, the senators voiced their deputy requests.

A group of deputies led by Askar Shakirovoutlined the problems of fire departments, which lead to the tragic consequences of fires in Kostanay, Karaganda, East Kazakhstan and other Regions.

Ryskali Abdikerovstated the necessity to increase efficiency of irrigated lands and suggested to strengthen measures of state support for workers of irrigated agriculture.

Lyazzat Kaltayevaoutlined problems of inaccessibility of electronic services for people with disabilities.

Talgat Musabayevdrew attention to the problems of the public automated information system for emergency calls in case of accidents and disasters.

Sultan Dyusembinovcriticized the poor quality of road repairs and irresponsibility of some general contracting companies in the implementation of road repair work.

Amangeldy Tolamisovdrew attention to the issues of housing for orphans and children left without parental care, which require immediate solutions.

Serik Shaidarov, raising the issue of strengthening control over the quality of repair of local roads, expressed disappointment that the planning of repairs is made without proper analysis and financed by the "residual principle".
