Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olga Perepechina took part in the VIII Summit of Speakers of Parliaments of the G20 countries, which was held in Indonesia.
Olga Perepechina discussed with her colleagues urgent issues of accelerating sustainable development and green economy, further establishment of effective Parliament and dynamic democracy, enhancement of social inclusion and gender equality as well as women empowerment.
In addition, during the Summit, parliamentarians voiced their questions and proposals for strengthening trade, economic and investment cooperation between the G20 member states. At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached on further cooperation in the field of inter-parliamentary cooperation.
