The Senate is preparing for the second meeting of the Parliamentary Commission for monitoring the implementation of national goals and objectives in the field of sustainable development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Members of the Parliamentary Commission, together with representatives of government bodies, international organizations and the expert community, held discussions on key issues related to the implementation of the third and fourth sustainable development goals in Kazakhstan.
Let us recall that the Parliamentary Commission was created in accordance with the instructions of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in June 2023. It included 9 deputies each from the Senate and the Mazhilis. Representatives of government agencies, the civil sector, the scientific community and international development institutions also take part in its work.
The main aim of the Parliamentary Commission is to promote the effective implementation of national goals and objectives in the field of sustainable development.
