Bibigul Zheksenbay spoke about the Address of the President of the country at a media briefing of the UN office in Kazakhstan

Senator Bibigul Zheksenbai took part in a media briefing organized by the UN office in Kazakhstan. The event took place on the eve of the Sustainable Development Goals Summit, scheduled during the High-Level Week of the UN General Assembly in New York.

Taking part in the discussion of SDG issues, the senator noted that each state must solve the most important issues of improving the social situation, healthcare, unemployment, education, drinking water, and the state of the environment contained in the international document. According to Bibigul Zheksenbay, the current Address of the President of the country is an algorithm for implementing the goals of sustainable development of Kazakhstan.

“There is every reason to believe that the Address of the President of the country created a map of sustainable development. In particular, problems such as lack of water, energy resources, poverty, hunger and ecology have a fundamental dimension and global significance. In 2019, President of the country Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also outlined the need to take decisive measures to achieve the desired results in accordance with the goals of the forum,” the senator noted.

Foreign industry experts, leading media representatives and public opinion leaders of the country also attended the event.
