The Senate Speaker informed the guests about the ongoing political reforms in Kazakhstan, initiated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. He also talked about priority directions of the Address of the Head of the State and the constitutional reforms implying changes in the mechanism for electing members of Parliament and Maslikhats.

The participants of the meeting, in their turn, highly appreciated the efforts of Kazakhstan on promotion of inter-civilization and inter-religious dialogue and support of cultural diversity. In the opinion of religious leaders, Kazakhstan's successful experience in this sphere should be studied and discussed, serving as an example for other countries.
