The Committee on Constitutional Legislation, Judicial System and Law Enforcement Agencies discussed the candidates to be elected as the Supreme Court Judges – A. Tukiyev and N. Rakhmetullina – proposed by the President of the Republic in accordance with Para. 1) of Article 55 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Following the discussion, these candidates were recommended by the Committee to be appointed as the Supreme Court Judges.
The relevant issue will be considered at the next meeting of the Senate of the Parliament on June 25.
