Senate members Rashit Akimov and Dauren Adilbekov paid visits to the districts of Akmola region.
The senators met with energy workers and checked the reconstruction progress of the boiler house and heating networks in Akkola. The town still has a problem with furnace heating in apartment buildings. Therefore, construction of a new boiler house is one of the most important tasks of the local Akimat. It will allow replacing 4 old boiler houses. The Akim of the town informed the senators that they commenced construction, built a solid foundation and installed a metal frame. The new boiler house is planned to be commissioned by the beginning of the heating season.
The senators also met with workers who are repairing the regional road “New Koluton-Akkol-Azat-Minskoye”. According to the local authorities, this section has been one of the most problematic ones over the past few years. This year they managed to get financing for reconstruction. According to the head of the housing and utility services department, the length of the highway will be almost 70 kilometers. Workers laid 28 kilometers of asphalt concrete at one section and another 20 kilometers at the other. Full completion of the project is scheduled for next year.
The senators also visited families who are temporarily unemployed due to quarantine. Rashit Akimov and Dauren Adilbekov focused the attention of local authorities on the prompt solution of employment issues and the development of small and micro businesses.
