At the meeting of the Senate Bureau, chaired by Speaker of the Chamber Maulen Ashimbayev, the MPs discussed the agenda of the upcoming meeting and distributed the bills received from the Mazhilis among the Committees.
The agenda of the upcoming meeting of the Senate was determined at the meeting of the Bureau. On October 22, 2020, senators will consider the bill “On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Culture.” The bill “On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Energy Waste Disposal, Water Protection Lines and Transportation of Goods by Rail” was also submitted for consideration by the Chamber.
At the same time, bills from the Mazhilis were distributed at the Bureau. The Committee on Constitutional Legislation, Judicial System and Law Enforcement Agencies was appointed as the head of the bills “On Ratification of the Protocol on the Protection of Industrial Designs to the Eurasian Patent Convention of September 9, 1994”.
At the meeting of the Bureau, Senate Chairman Maulen Ashimbayev recalled that Parliamentary hearings will be held on October 23, 2020. The participants of the hearings will discuss the socio-economic development of rural areas and their prospects.
