Senators Gumar Dyussembayev and Sagyndyk Lukpanov visited Kyzylkoga district of Atyrau region.
The MPs visited a school and examined the current security system and were also informed about the quality of education and teachers' salaries in Mukur village.
In addition, they met with the railway workers of Mukur station, where they discussed problems in this area and listened to the workers’ proposals and requests. The senators promised to take these proposals into account in their future work.
After that, the Senate members visited the settlement of Taskudyk. The locals have no drinking water, no gas, and the power grid needs reconstruction. The senators assured that they would ensure positive solution of these problems.
The MPs also checked the state of the Kulsary-Mukur highway. The issue of the highway reconstruction is under their constant control, since Senator Gumar Dyussembayev previously submitted a request to the Prime Minister of the country on this issue.
The senators also visited one of the local chemical plants.
After that they checked the work of the regional stabilization fund. They visited supermarket chains where goods from this fund are sold, and found out the prices for socially important goods. The MPs also visited the medical goods warehouse.
Gumar Dyussembayev stressed that state regulation of prices should establish a clear record of the availability of socially important goods, and it is important to prevent panic, constantly monitor delivery mechanisms and their selling prices, and avoid speculation with regard to food products and essential medical goods.
