Vice Speaker of the Senate met with the Ambassador of Jordan to Kazakhstan

Deputy Chairman of the Senate, Nurlan Abdirov, met with the Ambassador of Jordan to Kazakhstan Yousef Abdelghani.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of inter-parliamentary relations, as well as bilateral interaction in various fields.

 “Kazakhstan views Jordan as an important partner in the Middle East region and is interested in developing dialogue in all spheres and at all levels. At present, cooperation between our countries is developing dynamically, becoming more stable”, Nurlan Abdirov said.

The Vice-Speaker of the Senate stressed that inter-parliamentary cooperation between the Parliaments of the two countries is progressively developing. He also added that the further development of contacts between the legislative bodies of the two countries will be facilitated by the intensification of the work of inter-parliamentary friendship groups.

In turn, the Ambassador of Jordan informed about the readiness of the Jordanian side to intensify interaction between the upper chambers of the two countries.

The parties noted the need to increase trade turnover between the two countries. They shared the opinion that in order to resolve this issue, it is important to establish the work of logistics companies and direct contacts between the business circles of Kazakhstan and Jordan.
