Senators urge to solve the problems of children with special needs

Today, under the chairmanship of the Speaker of the Senate Maulen Ashimbayev, a meeting of the Chamber was held, where the deputies considered the submission of the Chairman of the Accounts Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of the republican budget on the termination of powers and dismissal of a member of the Accounts Committee Talgat Zhakan in connection with his transfer to another job. After the discussion, the deputies of the Senate decided to terminate his powers.

In addition, the Law "On ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014 in connection with the accession of the Republic of Armenia to it"was considered and adopted at the meeting of the Chamber. The document establishes the requirements for the contractual registration of interstate transmission of electric energy on the territory of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation in accordance with the legislation of the specified EAEU member states.

"The efficient use of electricity is important in the development of the economy. From this point of view, we hope that the Law will have a positive impact on the development of cooperation in the energy sector of the EAEU member states," Maulen Ashimbayev said.

During the meeting, the senators also voiced their deputy requests. Thus, Bekbolat Orynbekov raised the problems of the need to increase the staffing and improve the technical equipment of the emergency services of Zhambyl region. Dinar Nuketayeva called for solving the problems of children with special needs, Akhylbek Kurishbayev noted the need to introduce a new system of farming. The senators also raised issues of ecology and environmental control. In particular, Suindik Aldashev is concerned about the problem of the Koshkar Ata radioactive waste storage facility in the Mangystau region, and Andrey Lukin demands to strengthen environmental control over the state of the air.
