The events taking place in our country these days are of concern to all Kazakhstanis. In this regard, the Senate deputies support the President's appeal to citizens not to succumb to provocations and show prudence. For further development, it is fundamentally important to maintain stability and tranquility, Chairman of the Senate Maulen Ashimbayev believes.
"As the President of the country noted, now we need mutual trust and dialogue. By the Decree of the Head of State, in order to ensure the safety of citizens in the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Almaty and Mangistau regions, a state of emergency was introduced. The operational measures taken by the President of Kazakhstan are designed to strengthen stability in the country. Therefore, now it is very important for us to support the decisions and actions of the Head of State and ensure public order in the country," the Speaker of the Senate stressed.
Nurtore Zhussip, commenting on the events, noted that the discontent of the population is caused by the growth and instability of prices, and to address these issues, the President of the country gave appropriate instructions at a meeting on the socio-economic situation in the country.
"The population should show calmness, problems should be solved within the framework of the Law. The excitement of the people is connected with the aggravation of inflation. The President openly said that this is the fault of the Government. To this can be added the instability of prices in the country. The fact that the population puts forward socio-economic demands shows the aggravation of the situation in the country. Therefore, the Government that will be formed faces the task of resolving the existing issues," the people's deputy believes.
In turn, Senator Akhylbek Kurishbayev noted that every citizen is now responsible for the fate of our country.
"I believe that a number of issues that are rightly raised in our society could have been resolved with the timely adoption of measures by the Government. Many of them are being solved now only after the personal intervention of the President. In his speech, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev clearly outlined the priorities of social support for the population. And they will be fulfilled! The future of our country depends on each of us," the deputy of the Senate said.
