Deputies of the Senate Committee on Finance and Budget at an enlarged session discussed the bills on amendments to the three-year budget of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the amount of the guaranteed transfer from the National Fund.
The objectives of the draft law "On Amendments and Addenda to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Republican Budget for 2022 - 2024" is the financial provision of measures aimed at further development of the country. These include a program to increase people's incomes, the plan to ensure food security, the program to support manufacturing and entrepreneurship, elimination of the consequences of the January events, increasing combat readiness and equipment of security forces and emergency services, as well as the development of regions.
Draft law "On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On a guaranteed transfer from the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2022 - 2024," in turn, increases the size of a guaranteed transfer from the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the National Budget in 2022 up to 4,030 billion tenge ( increased by 1,630 billion tenge). This transfer will be aimed at ensuring social and infrastructural development of the country.
It is expected that the adoption of the bills will help to balance the Republican Budget. As a result of an enlarged meeting of the Committee it was decided to send the bills to the House for consideration.
