Nurzhan Nursipatov, member of the Senate Committee on International Relations, Defense and Security, met with veterans of the national security agencies, ministries of defense and internal affairs, as well as members of the national public association "Council of Generals of Kazakhstan".
During the meeting the Senator told in detail about the upcoming constitutional Referendum, in particular detailing the amendments proposed to make to the Basic Law of the country.
"Amendments to the Constitution will be decided not in the Parliament, but at the Republican referendum. The draft of the constitutional amendments is based on the citizens' requests and is carried out in the interests of the whole society. The upcoming Referendum will allow every citizen to influence decision making in the process of building the New Kazakhstan," said Nurzhan Nursipatov.
