This November 1, the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces a competition for the best journalistic investigation on materials of the Senate and contest for environmental journalism.
The initiative of the competitions belongs to the Chairman of the Senate Dariga Nazarbayeva. The head of the Senate presented it at an event dedicated to the day of media workers in this June.
The purpose of the competitions is to promote and increase the prestige of the profession of journalist, develop the genre of “journalistic investigation”, improve legislation in the field of ecology, encourage journalists.
Journalists, staff and freelance employees of national and regional TV channels and newspapers, Internet publications and radio, bloggers are invited to participate.
The winners will receive valuable prizes and diplomas.
