Member of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Lyazzat Suleimen met with representatives of mediators' organizations, public mediators and the leadership of specialized state bodies. The main topic of discussion during the meeting were the problematic issues of mediators.
The event was a result of earlier meetings of senators with mediators of the country, during which the problems faced by mediators in their work were discussed. The participants discussed current issues aimed at the development of mediation in health care, education, labor disputes, criminal proceedings, as well as taxation of mediators.
Representatives of the Supreme Court and the Ministries of Health, Justice, Interior, Finance, National Economy, etc., which took part in the meeting, answered the questions of mediators during the meeting.
The result of all ongoing work will be the organization of the first Forum of mediators and the enlarged session of the Committee on Constitutional Legislation, Judiciary and Law Enforcement Agencies, which will discuss the implementation of the Law "On Amendments and Additions to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Improvement of Civil Procedure Legislation and Development of Institutions of Extrajudicial and Pre-Trial Dispute Resolution".
