The Senate discusses amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences

Deputies of the Senate Committee on Constitutional Legislation, Judiciary and Law Enforcement Bodies held an enlarged meeting to discuss amendments and additions to the Code of Administrative Offences, as well as the bill to improve the military service.

The draft law "On Amendments and Additions to the Code of Administrative Offences" is designed to implement the instructions of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the formation of effective protection of consumer rights in the provision of communications and Internet services, including the introduction of administrative responsibility.

And the bill "On Amendments and Additions to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Improving the Procedure for Law Enforcement Service, Increasing the Legal and Social Security and Responsibility of Law Enforcement Officers, Special Security Bodies and Military Personnel, Interdepartmental Coordination, Independence of Internal Affairs Bodies, Strengthening Responsibility for Certain Criminal Offenses and Arms Trafficking" is divided into two main blocks.

The first block includes amendments in the sphere of staffing, military service and social security. The second is aimed at the legislative regulation of arms trafficking, improvement of legal security of policemen and provision of independence of power structures.

As a result of extended meeting of the Committee, the Senators decided to pass the bill to the House for further consideration.
