Amendments to the Laws on the regulation of digital mining in Kazakhstan were considered in the Senate
At an enlarged meeting of the Senate Committee on Finance and Budget deputies discussed the laws "On digital assets in the Republic of Kazakhstan", "On Amendments and Additions to Some Legislative Acts of RK on Issues of Digital Assets, Informatization and Judicial Administration, "On Amendments and Additions to the Code of RK on Administrative Offences", "On Amendments and Additions to the Code of RK "On Taxes and Other Obligatory Payments to the Budget" and the Law "On Enactment of the Code of RK "On Taxes and Other Obligatory Payments to the Budget".
The documents are designed to create a legal framework for the development of digital assets and mining in Kazakhstan, the implementation of tax monitoring and control over the activities of entities, as well as the imposition of liability for violations of legislation in the field of digital assets.
We recall that earlier during the discussion of the Laws in the Senate amendments were made to these Laws. The amendments concerned the exclusion of norms of advertising of digital miner activities, the definition of procedures for the payment of license fees for digital mining in 2023, and the determination of the timing of entry into force of certain norms.
