Senate deputy group “Onіr” holds a field meeting in Karaganda region

The Senate deputy group “Onіr” held a field meeting on “Digitalization of production processes as exemplified by the industrial facilities of Karaganda region” in Karaganda region.

The event was attended by senators - members of the deputy group Mikhail Bortnik, Muratbai Zholdasbayev, Sergei Yershov, Rashit Akimov, Yerbulat Mukayev, Sergei Plotnikov, Eric Sultanov, akim of Karaganda region Zhenis Kassymbek, Vice Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ablaikhan Ospanov, Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development Amaniyaz Yerzhanov, members of the regional maslikhat and entrepreneurs.

Opening the event, the head of the Onir deputy group Mikhail Bortnik reminded that the Head of State set the task of further digitalizing the economy, saying that “Digitalization is the most important condition for ensuring the competitiveness of the country's enterprises and economy. Further growth is associated with the acceleration of digitalization and active introduction of digital tools in all sectors of the economy. ”

The senator noted that Karaganda region is the leading industrial region of the country, where significant success has been achieved in the process of implementing digital technologies.

The Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Yerzhanov noted that 53 projects worth 283.3 billion tenge are planned for implementation as part of the digitalization of systemic mining enterprises. 22 of the projects worth 59.1 billion tenge have been implemented, and 31 projects are planned to complete.

The heads of such companies as Kazakhmys Corporation LLP, AK Altynalmas JSC and Eurasian Foods Corporation JSC emphasized that they have achieved a high level of digitalization, thus significantly optimizing the production processes.

Senators S.Yershov and Ye.Sultanov noted the importance of further digitalization of all sectors of the economy to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of the national economy.

As part of the field meeting, senators visited Bemer Armatura LLP, Recycling Company LLP, Eurasian foods JSC and Maker LLP, where they took a look at the introduction of digital technologies in production processes at these facilities.

During the meeting, recommendations were adopted for submission to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and central and local executive bodies.
