He graduated from Ivanovo Institute of Chemistry and Technology in 1993 with a degree in chemical engineering and technology.
He began his career in civil service in 1996 as a chief specialist of Kostanay Regional Department of Industry and Trade. He worked in this area in various management positions until 2008.
Since October 2009 - Advisor to the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He worked at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan as Deputy Chairman of the Investment Committee until 2014, then as Deputy Chairman of the Industry Committee.
From June to November 2014 - First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of KazAvtoZhol NC JSC.
From November 2014 to August 2020 - Deputy Akim of Kostanay region.
On August 28, 2020, he was elected as a member of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan from Kostanay region.
