As part of the National Coalition for Public Discussion of the Draft People's Constitution, deputies of the Senate Committee on Agrarian Issues, Nature Management, and Rural Development explained the key provisions of the constitutional reform to residents of Kyzylorda Oblast. During their working visit, the senators met with residents of the village of Akay in the Karmakshy District, as well as with representatives of culture and the arts, discussing the significance of the updated Constitution for regional development and strengthening social harmony.

Specifically, a meeting with local residents was held in the village of Akay, during which the main changes and amendments to the draft Constitution were explained in detail. Furthermore, the senators met with cultural and artistic professionals at the A. Tazhibayev Regional Universal Scientific Library, where they also discussed the key provisions of the constitutional reforms and their impact on the country's socio-political and cultural development.

Additionally, as part of a two-day working visit to the Kyzylorda region, Committee deputies held an off-site meeting dedicated to environmental safety, environmental protection, and environmental management at the Baikonur complex.

The meeting focused on assessing the environmental impact of the cosmodrome's operations, the state of ecosystems in the areas where separated rocket parts fall, waste management issues, and existing mechanisms for environmental monitoring and compensation for damage.

Committee Chairman Ali Bektayev emphasized that environmental issues at the Baikonur complex are systemic in nature and require coordinated interaction between government agencies, local executive bodies, and relevant departments.

"Environmental safety is not only a matter of environmental protection but also a matter of public health and national security. Risks of air, water, and soil pollution arise at all stages, from the preparation and launch of launch vehicles to the disposal of fallen fragments. "Therefore, consistent and practical measures are needed to prevent exceeding maximum permissible concentrations of harmful substances and to strengthen state control," the senator noted.

The results of the on-site meeting and meetings held during the trip will be taken into account by the Committee in its further work to improve legislation in the areas of ecology, nature management, and sustainable development.
