Deputies of the Senate Murat Baktiyaruly and Lyazzat Suleimen visited the city of Kyzylorda, Zhalagash and Syrdarya regions.
The Senators met with representatives of law enforcement and legal services of Kyzylorda region.
An open dialogue with experts in the field of law took place, the participants comprehensively discussed the issues of effective implementation of the norms of laws and international documents. According to the meeting participants, when applying the Law locally contradictions in the provisions of the Law are revealed, and there are also problems regarding the vagueness of some legislative rules in the state language.
During the trip, the Senators met with doctors and teachers of Zhalagash region. They clarified the basic norms of the Code “On people’s health and the health care system” and the Law “On the status of a teacher”. The meeting participants raised topical issues regarding the salaries of doctors and teachers, raising the status of doctors. They also asked about the possibility of schools to change from online back to a traditional form of study, as the quality of online learning is declining.
When visiting Syrdarya region, the Senators met with workers of the rice-growing institution in the village of Nagi Ilyasova. Last year, the water level in Syrdarya river dropped and caused a lot of trouble for agriculture. This year it is important to avoid water shortages in crop production. Therefore, the participants discussed preventive measures in this direction.
